We are in a time that is full of goodness, justice, and blessings. It is highly exalted within the Noble Book of Allah and in the Ahadith of His final Messenger (peace be on his soul).

In this way, it is known as”the month” of the Quran. Because Muslims frequently read Quranic verses. Holy Quran in this month. It is the month when people return to their Lord for repentance and in a distinctive and incomparable display of their faith.

There is a divine gift during the last ten days of Ramadan that Allah has awed His slaves, and is referred to as the Lailat-ul Qadr (the evening that is the night of Power or the Decree). The phrase Al-Qadr is often used to mean “the power”; however, a more accurate meaning could mean “the worth” as well as “the decision”.

“The night of the Power is beautiful and honorable. Allah provided it with several characteristics to prove its worthiness and awe-inspiring status. These are:

Allah has sent down the Quran down that night:

Allah confirms that He drew the Quran down on the night of Al-Qadr and that it is an opulent night, about which Allah affirms:

“We delivered it at a time of joy.” (Ad-Dukhan 44:3)

The night is blessed due to its great goodness, abundant virtues, and the beautiful rewards Allah offers to His faithful slaves who perform the Qiyam (Voluntary Night Prayer) in faith and hope to receive a reward From Allah. The revelation of the Quran is clear evidence of its merit and importance. Allah the Most Glorious revealed the most valuable kind of Dhikr and the most sacred book. Through reciting the Quran, one can get guidance and gain spirituality.

It’s more than a thousand years:

Allah increased the importance of the night of Al-Qadr that He chose to reveal the Mighty Quran through His statement:

“And what is it that will help you aware of what the Night of Al-Qadr is? The night of Al-Qadr’s is better than a thousand years” (Al-Qadr 97:2 3).

“The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stated:

“Verily, The month of Ramadan has arrived to you, everyone. It is a very blessed month, and Allah has obligatory everyone to observe. When it is this month, The gates to Paradise open, while the gates of Hell are shut, and the devils are bound. On this night, that is more than a thousand months. If anyone is denied, its goodness is truly suffered.” (Ahmad 198991. There is evidence to support this story from the Hadith of Anas bin Malik in the writings that are part of Sunan ).>

It does not only show there is indeed a time in which sins are redeemed and wiped away, gates of mercy are open, rewards are multiplied, and things are ruled out, but it is also a demonstration of the significance of the Qiyam and the immense reward for doing good during this time.

The reward for worshipping Allah during this time is the benefits of worshipping Him for a thousand months, that’s eighty-three years and four months.

The Decree for each issue on the Night of al-Qadr

Allah says:

“We have sent this Quran (this Quran) down on an incredibly blessed night (in the month of Ramadan). Truly, we are always alert. In (that evening) is decreed each matter of detention. Amran (i.e., the command of the Quran and the Decree of all matters) from us. Our Lord is always communicating (the Messengers), (As) a mercy from the Lord. Verily! He is the All-Hearer and The All-Knower .”

And Allah says:

“Therein come the angels as well as the Ruh (Jibril) through their Lord’s approval in every issue.” (Al-Qadr 97:4)

It reveals that the exact directives about the life of individuals and their death are separated from Al-Lawh-ulMahfuz (the preserved Tablet) and the angelic sheets that keep track of all the activities of the people, like the food, actions, or events, as well as their ages to the following year through Allah’s Wisdom, Knowledge and ability; it shows the status of the night.

The Descent of the Angels:

Angles descend to earth in awe, blessings, and mercy for people who believe. Allah says:

“Therein come the angels as well as the Ruh (Jibril) through their Lord’s consent in all issue.” (Al-Qadr 97:4)

The angels descend abundantly during this night due to the abundance of blessings. They descend with mercy and blessings the same way as they descend when the Quran is being read. They surround the circle in Dhikr (remembrance to Allah) and reduce their wings with genuine respect for seekers of wisdom.

The word Ar-Ruh Ar-Ruh is stated to be Jibril, the angel. Jibril. So, the wording in the Ayah is a means to include the name of the specific object (in this case, Jibril) independent of the larger group (in this case, angels).

There is a tranquility until sunrise (Fajr):

Allah says:

“With all things, it is peaceful until the dawn of the dawn.” (Al-Qadr 97:4 5)

The night of peace is all things, safety in which Satan is not able to do anything evil or harm to anyone, the angels wishing peace on the night of Al-Qadr to all the people who are in the mosques until the time of Fajr (dawn) and everything is positive, and there is nothing terrible within it until the coming of Fajr (dawn).

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be content with them both) told of the time when Allah’s Messenger Allah (peace be with him) declared:

Ubayy bin Kab (may Allah be pleased with his purity) said: “By the signs of which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“On the day that sun rises without sunlight.”(Muslim, Hadith 762).

Moreover, said:

“It is a comfortable, moderate, and cool night. It’s neither hot nor cold. The next morning, the sun rises bright red and fragile (in the light ).”

The exciting thing is to observe the fact that these signs appear when the night is over. Certain scholars have suggested that this is because one should not be relying on certain knowledge to limit worship to only one night during the year.

Suggestion within the Night of Al-Qadr:

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) recounted that she asked: “O Messenger of Allah! If I know it’s Lailat-ul-Qadr, what should I supplement to it? The Prophet (peace may be with him) stated:

“You must substitute:

“Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni“

O Allah! You are the Most Forgiving and Love Forgiveness; therefore, I am forgiven .” (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3513).

The hard work of the ten days that followed Ramadan:

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) Narrated:

“With the beginning of the ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was able to stay awake at night to perform prayers and keep his family awake during the prayers.” (Al-Bukhari, Hadith 2024).

The most important things that individuals should be doing are paying attention more to these nights, paying respect for them, and adhering to what is known as the Sunnah from the Messenger (peace be with him) at night since Jesus the messenger (peace be upon his soul) was known to wake his people to pray.

Anyone in a position to wake up for Qiyam and Dhikr must take advantage of this to reap the immense reward and reap themself from these beautiful evenings of worshipping their God, as these are the best opportunities to be taken advantage of.
