Surah Al Zalzalah Transliteration (Arabic text: الزلزلة‎) is the 99th chapter of the Holy Qur’an. Also commonly referred to as Zilzal or Az-Zilzal. Surah Al Zalzalah Transliteration titled in English means “The Earthquake”. Surah Al Zalzalah have of 8 verses.

About Surah Al Zalzalah :

Surah Al Zalzalah begins with a description of the Day of Judgment, the Earth will give off a horrible earthquake and “throw up her burdens” and people will be “separated to be shown their good or bad deeds.” Surah Al Zalzalah tells us, the complete track record will be shown, and it will be so datil that not an atom’s weight of any good or evil deeds will be left unnoticed.

1	إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا	Izaa zulzilatil ardu zilzaalahaa
2	وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا	Wa akhrajatil ardu athqaalahaa
3	وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا	Waqaalal insaanu maa lahaa
4	يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا	Yawma ‘ithin tuhaddithu akhbaarahaa
5	بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا	Bi’anna rabbaka awhaa lahaa
6	يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ	Yawma’ithin yasdurunnaasu ashtaatan liyuraw a’maalahum
7	فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ	Faman ya’mal mithqaala dharratin khayran yarah
8	وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ	Waman ya’mal mithqaala dharratin sharran yarah

TAFSEER

In Surah Al Zalzalah Allah tells us the Last Day of Judgment events to warn humanity about the approaching end of the world. The divine message states that every good or bad deeds will face judgment while all concealed matters will become evident. The revelation instructs believers to maximize their righteous deeds through good actions because these deeds will be weighed at judgment.

At that time Earth will experience a tremendous violent movement.
During that time the earth will present gigantic masses which contain corpses and treasures.
The figure questions why she behaves this way while others show concern.
The planet Earth itself will share her experiences on that specific moment.
Guests on earth will arise from the earth because your Lord instructs it.
The community will arrive at the Plain of Resurrection with different groups to see how their previous actions turned out.
7-8. The sincere actions of anyone who performed a tiny fragment of good deeds will bring clear results but the offenders who failed to receive Allah’s forgiveness will also witness their misdeeds.
