Surah Al Qariah Transliteration (Arabic text: القارعة) is the 101st chapter of the Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Calamity” and it consists of 11 verses.
About Surah Al Qariah :
The theme or lesson behind Surah Al Qariah is to warn people of the day of Al-Qariah which is one of the names of the day of judgment. The first 5 verses tell us a about that day. The next four verses According to the Islamic belief good deeds will build heavier weight than bad deeds thus leading some individuals to protected him .
According to Taseer al-Mazhari , we discover a critical understanding which describe that instead of counting good deeds Islam weighs them so someone’s sincere pure deeds made with Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) compliance will outweigh equivalent deeds from believers whose faith is less pure.

| 1 | ٱلْقَارِعَةُ | Al-Qari’ah |
| 2 | مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ | Maal-Qari’ah |
| 3 | وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ | Wamaa adraaka mal-Qari’ah |
| 4 | يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ | Yawma yakoonu an-naasu kal-faraashil mabthooth |
| 5 | وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ | Watakoonu aljibaalu kal’ihnil manfoosh |
| 6 | فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ | Fa-amma man thaqulat mawaazeenuhu |
| 7 | فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ | Fahuwa fee ‘ishatin raadiyah |
| 8 | وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ | Wa-amma man khaffat mawaazeenuhu |
| 9 | فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ | Fa-ummuhu haawiyah |
| 10 | وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ | Wamaa adraaka maa hiya |
| 11 | نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۭ | Naarun haamiyah |

CONCLUSION
Surah Al-Qari’ah Tell us the chaos of the Day of Judgment and emphasizes that one’s fate depends on the weight of their Good or Bad deeds—leading to whole eternal bliss or punishment.
