Surah Al Ala Transliteration and Benefits

Surah Al Ala Transliteration (Arabic text: الأعلى) is the 87th chapter of the Holy Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Most High”.  Surah Al Ala consists of 19 verses only.

Here is Surah Al-A’la in Arabic along with its transliteration:

1سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰSab-bihisma rabbika al-A’la
2ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰAlladhi khalaqa fasawwaa
3وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰWa alladhi qaddara fahadaa
4وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰWa alladhi akhraja al-mar’aa
5فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَاءًۭ أَحْوَىٰFaja’alahu ghuthaa’an ahwaa
6سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰSanaqri’uka falaa tansa
7إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰIllaa ma shaa’ Allahu; innahu ya’lamu aljahra wama yakhfaa
8وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰWa yusiruka lilyusraa
9فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰFadhakkir in naf’atidhikraa
10سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰSayadhakkaru man yakhshaa
11وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَىٰWayatajanabuhaa al-ashqaa
12ٱلَّذِى يُصْلَىٰ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰAlladhi yuslaa al-naara al-kubraa
13ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَاThumma laa yamootu feehaa walaa yahyaa
14قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰQad aflaha man tazzakaa
15وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰWadhakara isma rabbihi fasallaa
16بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَاةَ ٱلدُّنْيَاBal tuthiruna al-hayata al-dunya
17وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰWal-akhiratu khayrun wa abqaa
18إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰInna haadhaa lafee al-suhufi al-ooolaa
19صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰSuhufi Ibraheema wa Moosaa
