The meaning of just the Arabic word Jazakallah is “May Allah reward you, May Allah give You More , blessing and Goodness. The complete word is Jazakallahu Khairan جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا meaning “May Allah reward you”.

Jazakallah or Jazakallah Khair?
- Grammar Behind The Arabic word “Jazakallah” :
- ‘Jazaak’ comes from the basic root word “jazaa”
- the popular Arabic-English dictionary,
- Al-Mawrid, Jazakallah has two meanings that are
- totally opposite to each other!
- So that , ‘jazaa’ can either mean “reward” OR
- “punishment”.
- So :“JazakAllah” may mean “may Allah
