O ALLAH, MASTER OF MAJESTY AND GREATNESS,
MASTER OF GENEROSITY AND MIGHT,
MASTER OF FORGIVENESS AND MERCY,
MASTER OF PIETY AND PARDON —
I ASK YOU BY THE RIGHT OF THIS DAY,
WHICH YOU HAVE MADE A FESTIVAL FOR THE MUSLIMS,
AND FOR MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM AND HIS FAMILY)
A SOURCE OF HONOUR, DIGNITY, DISTINCTION, AND INCREASE —
THAT YOU SEND BLESSINGS UPON MUHAMMAD AND THE FAMILY OF MUHAMMAD,
AND THAT YOU INCLUDE ME IN EVERY GOOD
IN WHICH YOU INCLUDED MUHAMMAD AND THE FAMILY OF MUHAMMAD,
AND THAT YOU REMOVE ME FROM EVERY EVIL
FROM WHICH YOU REMOVED MUHAMMAD AND THE FAMILY OF MUHAMMAD —
MAY YOUR BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM AND UPON THEM.
O ALLAH, I ASK YOU FOR THE BEST
OF WHAT YOUR RIGHTEOUS SERVANTS HAVE ASKED YOU FOR,
AND I SEEK REFUGE IN YOU FROM THAT
FROM WHICH YOUR SINCERE SERVANTS SOUGHT REFUGE.
