The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
“Whoever observes the practice of performing 4 Rak’ah before Zuhr prayer and four after the Zuhr Namaz, Allah will protect him against the Hell . [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].
The Zohar Namaz Rakat
The Zuhr Namaz Rakat have twelve rakats:
- 4 Sunnah Rakats
- 4 Fard Rakats
- 2 Sunnah Rakats
- 2 Nafl Rakats
Importance of Sunnah Prayers:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) emphasized the importance of performing the Sunnah prayers before and after Zuhr Prayer, describe that these prayers can lead to protection from the Fire.
Time of Zuhr:
The time for Namaz Zuhr stars when the sun has passed its zenith and a man’s shadow is equal in length to his the height, Although the time for Asr comes.
Benefits of Dhuhr prayer:
Zuhr Prayer is a time when the doors of heaven are opened, and good deeds are recorded, making it an important time to seek blessings, duas and good deeds.
All Zuhr Namaz Rakat hold an importance and allow a Muslim to gain many rewards, blessings and gifts from Allah Almighty . One should strive to perform all these rakats in the given order. On the Day of Judgment, the first thing people will be question about their prayers. Allah will instruct the angels to check whether the prayers were performed. If the prayers are complete and perform in Time, they will be reward as such.
However, if they are lacking, not offer, Allah SWT will say to his angels to see if his servants perform some optional prayers. Optional prayers will replace any deficiencies that occur within obligatory prayers (Fajr, Zuhur, Asr, Maghrib and Isha). In a similar manner every other action will be evaluated for their status. But if the time comes to an end, one should perform the only fard and then move on to the sunnah rakats and then the nafl rakats.

Zuhr prayer is amongst the five obligatory salah in a day. Zuhr Namaz is the second prayer offered to God at the noon hour of the morning. Zuhr prayer consists of 4 Rakats and is done after the sun descends in the west from the middle of the sky.
