Du’as for Health and Wellness

Our health is among the most cherished blessings of Allah, as is the obligation to maintain it and use it to aid us in our journey to become closer to God.

Ibn Abbas reported,

“The Messenger of Allah declared, “Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your riches before your poverty, your free time before your work, and your life before your death.”( Shu’ab al-Iman lil’Bayhaqi 10250)

The Prophet advised us to say the following du’a during the morning and evening of our adhkar to ensure Allah’s best health and protection.

Allahumma ‘afini fi badani, Allahumma ‘afini fi sam’i, Allahumma ‘afini fi basari, la ilaha illa Ant, Allahumma inni a’udhu bika mina-l-kufri wa-l-faqr, wa a’udhu bika min ‘adhabi-l-qabr, la ilaha illa Ant.

“O Allah, grant me the health of my body. O Allah, give me health in my ears. O Allah – Allah’s Names, give me health in my view. It is impossible to find a god worth worshipping but You. O Allah, I pray for Your protection from unbelief and poverty. I also seek to protect You from the retribution of death. No god is worth worship other than You.” (Abu Dawud 5090; Ahmad 20430)

“There isn’t any living thing in the world whose existence is not backed by Allah. He also knows where it dwells and the place it will be laid to rest. All of it is written in a perfect record.” ( Surah Hud 11:6)

We can also learn lessons from the life of Maryam (AS), one of the most beautiful women who have ever walked the earth. She dedicated her entire day and nights to secluded prayer to Allah while being blessed with a miraculous supply of food, which was even available in the season. When Prophet Zakariya lyh lslm inquired regarding the source of her food, she said, “It is from Allah. In fact, Allah provides for whom He pleases without regard.” ( Surah Ali Imran 3:37)

There is nothing such as an unreasonable du’a seeking Allah God, the Creator in all things. Allah’s power is endless, and He can bring things about by asking the people to “Be.

It’s that simple.” Be aware that your rizq is within Allah’s Hands of Allah. He will provide you with all kinds of nourishment you can ever require, and you should ask Him for it with a firm belief that He will give you everything with the highest quality possible.

Du’as for the Ummah

As Muslims, we are required to ensure to strive for excellence throughout our lives. This means contributing to the community and building more enduring relationships with our family, friends, and neighbours. It is believed that the Muslim ummah is a single body. The entire ummah interprets any pain or need in one area.

Rabbana-ghfir lana wa li-ikhwanina-l-ladhina sabaquna bil-iman, wa la taj’al fi qulubina ghilla-l-lil-ladhina amanu Rabbana innaka Ra’ufu-r-Rahim.

“Our Lord, We ask you to forgive us and our brothers and sisters who came before the way of faith. Don’t instil into our hearts any hatred towards those who believe. Jesus Christ, truly, You are the most compassionate The Ever-Merciful.” (Al-Hashr 60:10)

The data’s that is found in the Qur’an stresses how important it is to cultivate goodwill between Muslims. It is a good idea to pray for the forgiveness of our sisters and brothers who have died and to build our relationships with each other. The cultivation of empathy and love for fellow human beings in our hearts is vital to our faith, and this du’as is an excellent and effective way to improve our relationships.

It is also essential to keep in mind the fact that Allah al-Jaami is the Unifier. Therefore, we can call His name in moments of difficulty and conflict.

“And remain firm on the rope that holds Allah to keep you all in one place [jameeanand don’t get separated. Remember the blessings of Allah on you when you were enemies, and His love brought you to one, and you were because of His grace and love, brothers. Then you stood on Fire’s edge, but He rescued your life from the flame. This is how Allah explains to you His words to guide you.” ( Surah Ali-‘Imran 3:103)

In the above verse, Allah tells the Muslims to stand up for each other and to remain firmly on his rope “all together” (Jamaican). Like He helped bring the hearts of his friends together, Allah Allah’s Names – can bring our hearts too when we are committed to being honest.

May Al-Jaami bind our hearts to guide us. Ameen.

Du’as for Self Improvement

When we go on our journeys, we often struggle with many issues, including procrastination, bad habits, and the lack of attributes we would like to have. The root of the struggle lies in our naps or lower self, that internal voice telling us to defer our personal growth until a future that never comes.

Allah is closer to us than our veins and more aware of us than we are. Invoke Al-‘Aleem, The All-Knowing, for His assistance in defying the false echoes of Shaytan and the tendencies of the Nafs that block us from reaching our objectives.

Also, we can invoke Al-Musawwir, the Fashioner, to guide us and mould us into the ideal version of ourselves, one He is happy with and is satisfied with.

This data, which can be found within the sunnah morning and evening adhkar, systematically requests Allah (Allah’s Names ) to shield us from different kinds of evil, which include our Nafs.

Allahumma fatir-as-samawati wa-l-ardi,’alima-l-ghaybi wa-sh-shahadah, rabba kulli shay’iw-wa malikah, ash-hadu al-la ilaha illa Anta, a’udhu bika min sharri nafsi wa min sharri-sh-shaytani wa shirkihi wa an aqtarifa ‘ala nafsi su’an aw ajurrahu ila muslim.

“O Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth, the Knower of the unheard and the visible God and Lord of all, I swear that there is none worth worshipping but You. I pray for Your protection from the evils of my Self, and from the sins from Shaytan as well as from the ills of polytheism that Shaytan calls for protection, and from committing a sin on myself or inflicting it on a Muslim.”

Spirituality

Our devotion to Allah is the primary purpose of the universe (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:56), which makes our religious obligations the highest priority when establishing goals. We are also likely to make mistakes and encounter difficulties while we attempt to fulfil our goals. The value of our religion is in the fact that it provides an adab for these times.

When we recite this du’a at the end of every salah, we pray to Allah (Allah’s Names ) to assist us in improving the quality of our prayers, thanksgiving, and remembrance of Him. If the aim is to be consistent in prayer or to repeat many Qurans, this prayer can aid us in reaching those goals effectively.

allWhumaW “ainiWy” ala dhikrika washukrika waHusni

Allahumma a’inni ‘ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ‘ibadatik.

“O Allah, help me remember You, be grateful to You, and worship You in an excellent manner.”

The data was included in this gorgeous hadith.

Mu’adh. Jabal (radio Allahu ‘anhu) told his experience that the Messenger of Allah took his hand and, “I’m, “O Mu’adh, I swear to Allah that I am in love with you. I promise to Allah that I will always love you. O Mu’adh, I tell you: Remember to say the above after each salah. (Abu Dawud 1522)

The most popular du’a (Allah’s Names ) uttered by the Prophet is to ask to be steadfast in the faith, and we must follow his example and often create this du’a as well.

ya muqaliWba lquluwbi thabiWt qalbiy `ala~ diynika

Ya Muqalliba-l-qulubi thabbit qalbi ‘ala dinik

“O Allah , Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.”

In addition to these du’as, you should pray to Ar-Rahman the Most Merciful (Allah’s Names ) and Al Hadi, The Guide, to direct you on the correct path and grant you an immense reward in this lifetime and the coming one.

Self-improvement is a beautiful and profound journey that is only possible with the assistance and kindness of Allah (Allah’s Names ). These du’as will help you achieve your goals and improve yourself in shaa Allah!
