Jez Alborough
Jez is the creator and author of 48 children’s books. In the year 2018, he released The Story of You, his first book for adultsand the first of a series titled Life Beyond Personality. He states: “We enter this world as pure Oneness (what I call our “original state of being’) but we lose this when we are identified with our personality. As we become identified with our Personality, the stillness and love of our True State are obscured by the pain of the personality.

The Eddy and the Bear trilogy (which started with the well-loved How’s My Teddy in 1992) has sold more than four million copies and has been made into a BAFTA award-winning animated television show.
Duck in the Truck (published in the year 1999) marked the beginning of another bestseller series that featured the irresistible Duck as well as his 3 companions three friends – Frog, Goat and Sheep. The series currently has nine titles in it. Duck series, and more than 1.5 million copies have been sold.
In 2000, Jez produced Hug which is a moving and poignant book with just 3 words that tells the story of a newborn Chimpanzee named Bobo who loses his mom. Oprah Winfrey raved about it on her show , when she included it on her list of recommended books to read. Richard Curtis (the writer and director of Four Weddings and a Funeral) chose the book for his “Best Books and called it a “a classic family drama that stands with the other great books written by Jez.’ Bobo went on to appear in a number of classics like Tall ( and together with Hug was awarded Hug the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Book Award) and Yes and Play. It has been sold over 3 million books.
