Du’a for Anxiety
For relief from anxiety, worries and sorrow, recite this du’a:
Transliteration:
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min al-hammi wal-ḥuzn, wal-ʿajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa ḍalaʿid-dayn wa ghalabatir-rijāl
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں غم اور پریشانی سے، عاجزی اور سستی سے، بخل اور بزدلی سے، قرض کے بوجھ اور لوگوں کے غلبے سے۔
Du’a for Stress
During times of distress, you can recite the following Prayers:
حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ
Du’a for Depression
For depression, recite the following:
Transliteration:
Allahumma akhrijni minaz-zulumāti ilan-nūr
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ! مجھے اندھیروں سے نکال کر روشنی کی طرف لے آ۔
Transliteration:
Allahumma rahmataka arjū, fa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn, wa aṣliḥ lī sha’nī kullah, lā ilāha illā anta
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ! میں تیری رحمت کا امیدوار ہوں، پس مجھے ایک پلک جھپکنے کے لمحے کے لیے بھی میرے نفس کے حوالے نہ کر، اور میرے تمام معاملات سنوار دے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
Transliteration:
Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn, Allāhumma’jurnī fī muṣībatī, w’akhluf lī khayran minhā
Urdu Translation:
بیشک ہم اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور ہم اُسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں، اے اللہ! میری مصیبت میں مجھے اجر عطا فرما، اور مجھے اس کا بہتر بدل عطا فرما۔
Transliteration:
Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā jaʿaltahu sahlā, wa anta tajʿalu al-ḥazna idhā shi’ta sahlā
Urdu Translation:
اے اللہ! کوئی چیز آسان نہیں، مگر وہی جسے تو آسان بنائے، اور تو ہی غم و پریشانی کو جب چاہے، آسان کر دیتا ہے۔
