The SNC single national Curriculum is a project of government officials in Pakistan to guarantee equal access to education to all of the community. As per the guidelines issued by the government of Pakistan, prescribed textbooks are available in every public or government school private school, and also Islamic based(madrassa) in Pakistan.
The books from the Single National Curriculum that are released in the Punjab Textbook Board will be distributed for free in every public school. For students who attend private school, SNC books will be available in book stores for a low cost. SNC can be taught from the elementary grade. SNC will be introduced to elementary schools starting in Grade 1 and Grade 5 during the year 2021-22.
They cover 5 subjects: Urdu, Islamiat, English Mathematics, along with General Science that will be taught by the SNC. These SNC books were released in collaboration with PCTBB, the Punjab Curriculum Textbook Board PCTBB. They’re illustrated with colorful illustrations and brand-new exercises. The material is designed to promote and increase the devotion to the society, the nation and the faith.
