About the Author
Bill Martin, Jr. (1916-194) was known as “America’s favorite children’s author.” His books include the classic Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and What Do You See?, illustrated Eric Carle, and Chicka Chicka boom Boom, illustrated Lois Ehlert.
John Archambault, a poet, journalist, storyteller, worked with Bill Martin, Jr., on many projects. He lives in California’s Idyllwild Pine Cove.
Lois Ehlert (1934-2021), was a prolific picture book author who created many innovative, celebrated and bestselling picture books including Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Boom, Holey Moley and The Scraps Book.
