Best Morning and Evening Duas – To keep Allah near to our hearts, we should always keep in mind Him by reciting Dhikr (short phrases of praise and praise to Allah that are repeated silently in the mind or spoken aloud) along with Dua’a (prayer and prayers of supplication).

“And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning.” [Al-Imran, 41]

Islam requires us to read the Quran every day as often as we can. It is also a requirement to say Dua’a. There are many Dua’a to be said in the morning and evening, to bless our lives and nights, guard us from sin and evil and remind us that we must be loyal to Allah throughout the day. So that we are certain to follow the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) steps, since the majority of these were said by the Prophet.

A few hadiths speak of the importance of repeating Dhikr:

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated: “Whoever says in the morning , ‘La Ilaaha It is Allah’s Wahdahu La Shareeka Lah”, Lahul Mulk, Wa Lahul Hamd Wa Huwa Huwa’ala Kulli Shay’in Qadeer. There is no god except Allaah Alone ] without any partner or associate. His praise is due to Him and to Him comes the power of His sovereignty and He can do everything.

The ‘[‘]’ receives an award that is equivalent to the reward of freeing one from slavery to the Isma’el children (Ishmael) 10 good acts will be recorded for him, and ten of his sins will be erased from him. He will be raised by ten degrees, and will be protected from evil until evening. And when he repeats similar things at night and the next day, he will receive similar rewards (as stated) up to the time of the morning.”

As for evening prayer the best option is to recite dua’a and dhikr in between Asr as well as Maghrib prayer “Whoever recites the last two verses of Soorat al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.” (al-Bukhari 4008; Muslim, 807).
