There are two types of descriptive words: attributive or predicate. Both subcategories modify a noun in a similar way. Both subcategories do things slightly differently and have slightly differing uses.
Predicate and Attributive Words
Predicate and attributive words can be seen as two sides of one coin. Attributive words can be found in a sentence right beside a noun. It is usually found before the pronoun or noun.
